Wedding Invitations

These are the Wedding Invitations I did for my Step-Son's wedding in November this year.  I had to do up 50 of these, and then a further 30 were sent out but a scaled down version that didn't include the Wishing well note or the Accommodation note.  Wow, what a job!  A big thank you to both Bryan and Maddie who helped out with the project when things got a bit desperate.
The colours are a bit hard to see, but they were Opal and Purple (on shimmer paper).

The set also included a Place Card for each guest, that was designed to hang over the edge of a champagne glass the couple gave to each adult guest,  and a double sided Thank You note was tied around the stem of the glass.  The Place Cards were a winner,  as any guest who sat at a table with people they did not know, simply turned their names around to the back of the glass so they could be read by everyone else at the table.

The only items used for this Project from Stampin Up were the Big Shot to dry emboss and die cut all the large hear shapes, as well as the Stampin Up Full Heart - Extra Large punch used for the front of each invite (the ones with the couples names on them).  Also used were Stampin Up dimensions.  All other products and die/embossing folders were from other suppliers.

Birthday card - Crimped Envelope card

I made this card for my daughters 15th birthday and have been dieing to share it with everyone.  Its called a Crimped Envelope Card and easy to make.  You can find how to make one here.  If you get around to doing one, please let me know I would love to have a look.

The products used for this card:

Cardstock:  Stampin Up Whisper White and Certainly Celery and Regal Rose
Ink:             Stampin Up Rose Red, Certainly Celery and Regal Rose
Stamps:       Stampin Up Always, and Wonderful Words
Accessories: Stampin Up Certainly Celery Ribbon, Crimper, Dimensions, Glue dots and Big Shot.
Other brand rectangle die cut, and stick on half pearls

Christmas Cards for 2010

These are my xmas cards for 2010.  I am not one to make just one type of card and duplicate it for all my friends.  I like to make a card with a person in mind.

Sorry I cant get some of the cards to rotate, I think it was the program I downloaded the photo's from the camera with.  If you turn your head on the side it make them easier to view.  haha!

This was my first attempt at a scenic card.  Thought it came out pretty good for a first attempt. Didn't give this one away, thought I might hang on to it as a keeps sake.

My very first Post

This is my very first post, please come back and check the site again in a couple of days time when I work out what I am actually doing.
In the interim take a look at the Stampin Up site here and check out the latest catalogue or just click here to download the brand new 2010-2011 catalogue.  If you are interested in placing an order or have any questions just email me.
I made this card for a friends daughter who was turning 21.  I love the layered look on cards but also I like my cards to have a crisp and uncluttered feel about them.
This card was made using Stampin Up Basic Black and the retired Apricot Appeal card stock.  All other accessories used including dry embossing folder, ribbon, rub-ons, and stick on half pearls are from other suppliers.
